A Warlock from the realm of Syrtis.

Warlocks (a subclass of the Mage) are one of the most powerful damage dealers, and the top area nukers in the game. However, getting caught by surprise or getting too close can turn them in the easiest to kill class. Able to cast effective combat control spells, drain life and mana, deal fast elemental or physical damage, cause damage over time, and use many of the strongest curses, makes warlocks the most dangerous part of any army. Sadly, along with poor defensive skills, it makes it one of the most targeted classes too. But also this can be used as an advantage by experienced players.

  • Great offensive spells
  • Great combat control spells
  • Great area spells
  • Can heal himself by draining health from enemies
  • Can drain mana from enemies
  • Can cremate enemy corpses

  • Very low defense
  • Low movement speed
  • In trouble when a "Cannot cast" type of effect is on them
  • In trouble when spells cast get evaded/resisted/blocked

[edit] Powers

As well as the Mage disciplines, the Warlock has 3 subclass-specific disciplines:

  • Arcania: Uses magic as kinetic energy to move stones, earth and wind. The warlocks physical damage source.
  • Necromancy: Life draining, demonic curses and chaotic spells come with this dark discipline.
  • Elements: Lightning, fire and ice. A wide arsenal of offensive magic based in elemental damage.

The warlock invokes a powerful spell that incinerates the corpse on an enemy. If the spell is successful, the enemy is sent to the Resurrection Altar.

Allows the warlock to possess an enemy conjurer's summon with a certain chance of success (100% at level 5).

Creates a darkness aura with a radius of 10 meters around the warlock. Enemies affected by it cannot cast spells and have reduced constitution.

Deals an initial amount of fire damage to a target, then deals fire damage over time which cannot be reduced by armor.
